Doug gets angry with Peter Bucklitsch

Doug got annoyed recently with the former UKIP candidate Peter Bucklitsch. Doug was annoyed about Peter's comments about the death of a refugee toddler. Doug wasn't alone in his outrage, he was joined thousands of others in expressing their anger and eventually Peter Bucklitsch removed his twitter account. Doug called Peter a "piece of psychopathic shit" and a "disingenuous piece of shit".

Doug was still angry, so he tweeted Michael Legge a screen grab showing Peter's address. Given Doug's anger with Peter, presumably he thought that the other angry twitter users might find some nefarious way of using Peter's address. However, because Doug is a clever man he put "I just hope no one circulates this" which of course, makes it seem like Doug genuinely DOESN'T want the address circulated and means that Doug can always claim that he genuinely hoped that Peter's address was not made public knowledge on the Internet, just in case anyone wanted to accuse Doug of trying to incite people to use the address for vengeance against Peter. An example of Doug's cleverness.

Michael Legge chose not to retweet or respond to Doug's screen grab.

Doug makes some jokes about Colin Fry (RIP)

Doug recently posted a joke the day after Colin Fry died of cancer. He wrote "Colin Fry says Hello". This tweet is based on the idea that Doug is claiming to be able to hear Colin from beyond the grave, just as Colin claimed to be able to do in his work as a medium.

Unfortunately, the tweet didn't get any favourites or retweets. Perhaps Doug's followers didn't believe that this joke about the death of a minor celebrity was worthy of being retweeting or favouriting, but Doug was unperturbed and posted a series of five additional jokes about Colin's death. In the tweets below Doug used two separate comedic devices to entertain his loyal followers. He explored both his initial premise of being able to hear Colin as well as the fact that Colin, in his work as a medium, would use cold reading and hence make vague statements. All six of Doug's tweets about Colin Fry used one or other of these two premises as the basis of their humour, but with different wording.

This time Doug added the hashtag "#ITalkToColin" to try and add a little momentum and hopefully get other twitter users making jokes about the deceased Colin. This series of tweets was a little more popular with two favourites overall and, as a little bonus, a retweet from @athenakugblenu. Unfortunately the hashtag that Doug added did not really take off as no other users decided to tweet using it.

Finally one more tweet from Doug. This time Doug interacts with one of his followers, the cat-loving @djnrrd who clearly enjoyed Doug's light-hearted Fry jokes enough to chip in, much to the delight of @joolians who rewards them both with a favourite for their efforts.
